The rain could not spoil the Harbour Inlet annual Neighborhood Block Party. There was a delicious spread of hamburgers, hot dogs, and roasted pig, with a multitude of side dishes and desserts. This is the first year that I have attended this wonderful event. It was nice to get together with all of the neighbors that I do not typically run into on a daily basis. Thanks to the Ellis’s and Cases for opening their front lawns up for this event. The camaraderie of this neighborhood is one of the many perks to living in Harbour Inlet. Many of the families have been here for many decades and know that value of Harbour Inlet, Fort Lauderdale’s best kept secret.
